Meet you up at hotel ,transfer 2 hours to Cai Lay, starting to ride on a beautiful back roads ,through amazing fruit orchards(Durian), stopping to try some fresh Durian , one of the speciality of the region . You will be welcomed by locals with big smiles , people have not seen Westerner, specially, with your funny cycling gears..

 

Day 2: Cai Be-Can Tho
 

Early Vietnamese breakfast will be served, so that. you will enjoy the truely Vietnam. Your cycling today will be along rivers, watching people activities, fishing, picking fruits, Vietnamese Students going to school with traditional dress Ao Dai..

Highlights: Rice paddies, fruit gardens, Khmer village

 

Today’s ride is spilt into two sections and it is a contrast to the previous day’s ride. After a very early breakfast, you will take a boat trip to the famous Cai Rang floating market before riding on a narrow paved road market to Phong Dien floating market. The route weaves through morning market bustle along the banks of the very busy river.

Absorb the sights of endless cottage industries, timber merchants, coconut shredders, small docks loading/unloading rice, and tiny vibrant markets. You will continue by bike on the narrow lane to the main road, which transfers along the highway back to Can Tho for lunch in a local restaurant. In the afternoon, you will continue riding along a road leading upstream towards Long Xuyen.

 

Highlights: Floating market- Cai Rang, enjoy cruising up-stream Mekong river

 

 

Haft an hour transfer out of town, start cycling on Tiger island and passing Hoa Hao home town religion, study about this Unique religion in Vietnam, keep cycling along the river up stream to Chau Doc, the landscape is now very different, and people is very fascinated and friendly.
