Day 1: Ho Chi Minh City Arrival

Day 2: Ho Chi Minh - Cu Chi Tunnels and sightseeing tour

In the morning, pick up at hotel and drive 55 km out of Ho Chi Minh City to Cu Chi District famous for the amazing complex of underground tunnels. There are more than 200 km of tunnels, comprising a main axis system with many branches connecting to underground hideouts, shelters and other tunnels. Experience traditional noodle for your lunch.

In the afternoon, gain an insight into the city’s development through a walking tour to the most significant landmarks including the Saigon Opera House, Ho Chi Minh City Hall, Notre Dame Cathedral and Saigon Central Post Office (all magnificent sights from the French colonial period). Your next stop will be the famous Ben Thanh Market, where you can purchase souvenirs for your beloved ones.

Day 3: Day trip to Mekong Delta

 

This morning, leave the noise, hustle and bustle of Vietnam’s biggest and busiest city behind as the scenery is gradually replaced with rice paddy fields on your transfer down to the Mekong Delta. Upon arrival start with a short relaxing boat ride on the vast Tien River, passing by some local fish farms on the water and observe this important waterway - the life-blood of the Mekong Delta. Stop by a local cacao farmer’s house to see planting, harvesting, fermenting and drying processes before the cacao beans are sold. Enjoy the fresh air and immerse yourself in the tranquility in this part of countryside in Mekong Delta, still untouched by tourism. Continue your visit through lush coconut plantations and fruit orchards on the small shady tracks, stopping by a local pagoda for a short break to enjoy some refreshments.

Mid-afternoon depart and transfer by road back to Ho Chi Minh City

Transfer to the airport in Ho Chi Minh City for flight to Phu Quoc Island. On arrival, guide and driver pick up and transfer to hotel/ resort. Rest of the day is free time.

During your free time, explore the island at your own pace.

Everything about this island is inviting and it is a perfect escape from reality and everyday life. To put it simply, Phu Quoc is a good place to unwind, relax and enjoy the simpler things in life. If you google Vietnam's best beaches, there’s some pretty impressive views to behold and Phu Quoc will be among them. To name a few: Long Beach, Sao Beach, Khem Beach, Ganh Dau Beach, Thom Beach... it not less than 10! The beach fronts are made up of various resorts, hotels and restaurants. Many of the restaurants are directly on the sand. There are also various ladies offering massages or selling fruits right on the beach.
