Itinerary
Day 1: Hanoi Arrival
Local guide will welcome you at Noi Bai Airport (the airport is about 30km from city center of Hanoi). Then you will take a comfortable private car from the airport to hotel in Hanoi. Check in hotel and relax. Free time for the rest of the day. Stay overnight at hotel.
Optional: We introduce two one-of-a-kind traditional performances which are found nowhere else than in Vietnam. You can choose one of below options:
- Water Puppet Show where puppets are performed on water stage with folk music, presenting ancient tales, folklores and daily life in Vietnamese countryside.
- Tu Phu (Four Palaces) Show - a very unique show about ritual of spirit practiced in the Vietnamese indigenous religion with music, colors and lively dance performance. The Four Palaces Shows take place on Thursday and Saturday every week.

Day 2: Hanoi City tour Half day
Half day Hanoi city tour (by car or by motorbike – upon client’s interest) - Routes can change subject to client’s interest.
Begin the first day of the trip with a tour of Hanoi. Depart from the hotel at 08:30 for a visit to Vietnam’s first university: the Temple of Literature. Founded in 1076, Quoc Tu Giam was established within a temple to educate Vietnam's royalty, mandarins and members of the elite.
Continue with a visit to the iconic One Pillar Pagoda, one of Vietnam’s most iconic temples. Nearby is the mausoleum of the historic father figure of modern Vietnam, Ho Chi Minh, and his modest house on stilts. (Sites are viewed from outside; closed Mon and Fri and from Oct-Nov)
Wrap up the morning with a visit to the picturesque West Lake and its sixth century Tran Quoc Buddhist Pagoda.Tran Quoc Pagoda is regarded as the most ancient pagoda in Hanoi with its history line of more than 1,500 years.
Have lunch at an authentic Vietnamese Restaurant. Free time at leisure for rest of the day.

Day 3: Hanoi – Halong Bay Cruise
07:30 ~ 8:30 Be ready for pick-up at your hotel lobby. Halfway to Halong City we will have a stop at Hong Ngoc Humanitarian Centre. Apart from having clean western style toilet facilities we will be able to see local craftsmen at work and have time for relaxation. Upon arrival at the pier, embark on the boat and set sail on a cruise through the limestone cliffs and emerald waters of Halong Bay, taking in the spectacular scenery of this UNESCO World Heritage site. Lunch is served as you cruise by impressive rock formations with unusual names and shapes.
In the afternoon you will start to discover Halong Bay, listed as a World Heritage of outstanding natural beauty, known in Vietnamese as “Dragon descending to the sea“. Depending on each cruise’s itinerary of the day, you may visit a beautiful cave, swim or sun bathe at Titov or Soi Sim beach.

Activities: Transfer to Halong Bay (by shuttle bus) where you board a junk for a cruise among the hundreds of islets of this magical World Heritage Site. Enjoy lunch and a swim. Drop anchor in the evening for an overnight stay among the dramatic limestone peaks.
Day 4: Halong Bay – Hanoi – Flight to Ho Chi Minh City
Wake up by the sounds of the sea. After breakfast, cruise will take tourists to explore the most stunning caves in Halong.
At around 10:30 boat starts cruising back to the harbor while brunch is served. We continue cruising through the bay, along the way seeing more of the fascinating formations.
12:00 - 12:30 Back on shore we will then transfer to the airport in Hanoi to catch a flight to Ho Chi Minh. Welcomed by our driver at Tan Son Nhat Airport then we will be transferred to hotel in Ho Chi Minh. Check in hotel, free at leisure the rest of the day.

Activities: Continue cruising to explore the most stunning caves in Halong and have the brunch on board. Disembark and transfer to airport in Ha Noi by shuttle bus. Take flight to Ho Chi Minh City.

Day 5: Cu chi Tunnels – Sightseeing tour
In the morning, drive 55 km out of Ho Chi Minh City to Cu Chi District famous for the amazing complex of underground tunnels. There are more than 200 km of tunnels, comprising a main axis system with many branches connecting to underground hideouts, shelters and other tunnels. Experience traditional noodle for your lunch.
In the afternoon, enjoy the attraction of Ho Chi Minh City. Sightseeing examples of French colonial architecture and exploring the Vietnam’s turbulent in past at the Museum. Our guide will show you the most interesting sights that Ho Chi Minh City has to offer.
Depart from your hotel to the Reunification Palace; this beautifully preserved palace was the residence of the President of the Republic of Vietnam. On April 30th 1975 the American War officially came to an end here. Afterward, we visit Saigon Notre Dame Cathedral, which was built in 1880, and the Old Post Office, which was built sometime between 1886 and 1891. It is one of the best examples of classical French colonial architecture. Our last stop would be at a local Market where you can practice your bargaining skills while shopping for souvenirs. Discover local life and culture. You’ll find some of the friendliest, liveliest, most convivial people in the city in here. Return your hotel in Ho Chi Minh City.

This morning head out on a day trip to explore the Mekong Delta. Activities of the day include the visit to a brick kiln factory, a coconut processing workshop and a local mat-weaving house, take Xe Loi ride (a kind of modern motorized rickshaw) or cycling tour to explore around village under coconut row and tasting some fresh seasonal fruits. One of the highlights of the tour is a ride by small sampan boat through the small canals and side-arms of the “Mighty Mekong” to observe the daily life along the river banks. Eat lunch at a local restaurant, sampling regional specialties. Drive back to Ho Chi Minh City, you have all rest of the day free to explore the city by your own.

Transfer to the airport in Ho Chi Minh City for your flight to Siem Reap. Upon arrival at Siem Reap Airport, greeting by our friendly tour guide, then you will be transferred directly to hotel (room may be ready at noon).

Get to know this city by a city tour, visit to Angkor National Museum to get to know more about the artifacts from every part of Cambodia in the past. Day 8: Siem Reap Temple Discovery Tour
Morning, visit to jungle Ta Prohm Temple, embraced by the roots of enormous fig trees and gigantic creepers. The temple of Ta Prohm was once used as a location to film the famous Hollywood film Tomb Raider. Begin tour to the antique capital of Angkor Thom, start from the South Gate with its huge statues depicting the churning of the ocean of milk, the Bayon Temple, unique for its 54 towers decorated with over 200 smiling faces of Avolokitesvara, the Phimeanakas, the Royal Enclosure, the Elephants Terrace and the Terrace of the Leper King.
Afternoon, explore Angkor Wat the most famous of all the temples on the plain of Angkor. The temple complex covers 81 hectares and is comparable in size to the Imperial Palace in Beijing. Its distinctive five towers are emblazoned on the Cambodian flag and the 12th century masterpiece is considered by art historians to be the prime example of classical Khmer art and architecture. Last but not least, view a wonderful sunset from Angkor Wat or somewhere possible.
